Build and maintain Ruby-based services and customer-facing trading applications within a distributed architecture. Design reliable, low-latency systems; troubleshoot production issues; write comprehensive tests; contribute to peer reviews; perform light infrastructure work; and translate technical requirements into production-quality code. Engineers work across Ruby, Java, and JavaScript, collaborate on greenfield and existing systems, and provide guidance to junior teammates while developing ownership of the platform.

Own and improve the production Linux infrastructure, including performance tuning, incident response, configuration management, container orchestration, networking, proxies, virtualization, secrets, observability, and data services. Build automation in Bash and Python, maintain infrastructure code through Git and peer review, troubleshoot complex system issues, write postmortems and runbooks, and support scalable, reliable systems in a regulated fintech environment.

Design, build, operate, and own backend systems supporting order handling, ledgers, and settlement. Partner with product and cross-functional teams to scope and deliver features, provide technical leadership and mentorship, conduct high-quality code reviews, establish engineering standards, troubleshoot production issues, evaluate technologies, and participate in on-call operations.
