Owns mechanical and structural design, packaging, analysis, testing, and validation of secondary avionics structures for the Terran R rocket. Provides technical direction, approves designs and analyses, makes architecture-level tradeoffs, and leads cross-functional integration across avionics, fluids, dynamics, thermal, structures, and vehicle integration teams. Ensures hardware meets static, dynamic, and thermal flight environments while balancing mission requirements, producibility, schedule, and cost.

Develop and integrate Terran R vehicle build processes across the lifecycle. Own verification activities for integration, testing, and launch-site checkouts; support qualification, acceptance, and hotfire campaigns; write test objectives, matrices, and plans; resolve off-nominal manufacturing challenges; and balance technical, cost, schedule, performance, reliability, and launch-rate constraints. Collaborate across mechanical, fluids, avionics, manufacturing, and other engineering teams, with possible travel and shifted schedules for critical milestones.

Owns end-to-end stage test campaigns for Terran R, including test planning, sequence development, hardware operations, data review, console operations, troubleshooting, requirements decomposition, verification, and risk mitigation. The role integrates vehicle subsystems across qualification, acceptance, hotfire, launch, recovery, and reuse activities. It requires cross-functional collaboration across mechanical, fluids, electrical, manufacturing, and aerospace engineering teams, along with travel to test and launch sites and flexibility during critical milestones.

Develop and scale manufacturing processes for rocket turbopump components and assemblies. Own manufacturing trades, fabrication, testing, tooling, and delivery of critical propulsion hardware while serving as the interface between design and manufacturing teams. Responsibilities include turbopump assembly, rotor balancing, tolerance analysis, structural proofing, leak checks, machining, additive manufacturing, and process optimization for flight engine production.

Develops manufacturing processes for rocket turbopump components and assemblies, including fabrication, assembly, testing, tooling, and delivery of critical propulsion hardware. Owns manufacturing trade studies and serves as the interface between design and manufacturing teams. Responsibilities include turbopump assembly, rotor balancing, tolerance analysis, structural proof testing, leak checks, machining, additive manufacturing, and tooling design while supporting production scale-up for flight engines.

Lead structural dynamics engineering for aerospace vehicle components, focusing on random vibration, acoustics, aero buffet, shock, instrumentation, and test qualification. Develop analysis methods, vibration and shock test plans, payload interface environments, and measurement systems. Collaborate with aerodynamics, propulsion, GNC, avionics, reliability, and customer teams to resolve multidisciplinary dynamics issues. Mentor junior analysts and support test planning, execution, and data validation.

Develop manufacturing processes, work instructions, and work orders for avionics hardware and wire harnesses. Lead manufacturing readiness reviews, provide design-for-manufacturability feedback, troubleshoot production issues, resolve non-conformances, and implement corrective actions. Partner with supply chain and quality teams to ensure component quality. Analyze yield and process data, drive continuous improvement, and maintain capacity and demand models.

Develops and validates structural analyses for reusable launch vehicle components and systems, including tanks, thrust structures, mechanisms, trays, and lines. Responsibilities include architecture and sizing, structural mechanics tool development and automation, advanced analysis techniques, directing design engineers, and executing qualification tests involving hardware integration, instrumentation, and data processing.

Develops, validates, and improves manufacturing test assets and processes for mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic assemblies. Leads test equipment and tooling design, sequencing, documentation, work orders, training, and shop-floor support. Analyzes test data, investigates failures, drives corrective actions, and collaborates with design, manufacturing, production, supply chain, and quality teams. Provides technical leadership on safety, tooling, capital equipment, manufacturability, testability, and reparability for aerospace hardware production.

Develops, validates, and improves manufacturing test assets and processes for mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic rocket assemblies. Responsibilities include designing or sourcing test equipment, authoring procedures and specifications, creating work orders and mBOMs, supporting shop-floor testing, analyzing test data, leading root-cause investigations, and implementing corrective actions. The role also provides technical leadership for workcenter development, safety, tooling, capital equipment, and cross-functional manufacturing test execution.
