Build reusable agent tools, connectors, and skills; integrate with infrastructure-as-code, GitOps, CI/CD, and observability platforms; run customer pilots; resolve adoption blockers; and contribute production code to the core product. The role also sets technical roadmaps, advises customers and internal teams, and guides organizations toward safe autonomous operations.

Lead PagerDuty’s Release Engineering team and set the company-wide roadmap for software build, testing, deployment, and delivery. Drive GitOps adoption, CI/CD platform migration, isolated testing environments, automated quality checks, progressive delivery, and delivery metrics. Manage CI and AI tooling costs, hire and coach senior engineers, communicate technical tradeoffs to executives, and guide platform adoption across Engineering.

Build, test, deploy, and operate backend applications, microservices, APIs, webhooks, and frontend interfaces for PagerDuty integrations. Design highly available services, scalable databases, and secure APIs while integrating with third-party platforms. Collaborate across engineering teams, support customer-facing products, participate in on-call rotations, and resolve production issues. The role requires experience with scalable web systems, modern programming languages, cloud technologies, databases, distributed systems, and AI coding tools.
