As a Software Engineer II on the Data Automation team, you will design and maintain the analytics infrastructure, collaborating with teams to ensure high system performance and reliability.

Lead the production infrastructure organization to define platform primitives (compute, storage, networking, observability), drive reliability (SLOs/SLIs, incident management, capacity planning), create golden paths and cost-effective frameworks, mentor and scale teams, collaborate cross-functionally on platform investments, and apply AI to improve infrastructure operations and developer productivity.

Lead technical direction and development of core platform primitives (infrastructure, databases, queuing, observability). Own multi-team platform initiatives, improve scalability, availability, latency, and cost-efficiency, mentor engineers, drive on-call and reliability practices, and leverage Python/Go, cloud-native tools, and IaC to enable product teams to build and operate confidently.

Build and maintain Klaviyo's Android SDK and adjacent mobile products (in-app messaging, universal linking, geofencing). Ship production-tested Android features, debug across devices and OS versions, contribute to other SDKs and backend services, write tests and docs, collaborate with product and engineering teams, and support customer integration issues.

Build and own full-stack, enterprise-grade analytics and reporting features—from data access and storage to front-end visualizations. Collaborate with Product, Design, Data Science and cross-functional teams to deliver AI-assisted, customizable reporting that drives adoption, retention, and action within the Klaviyo platform.
