Senior Engineer for Water within Global Facilities Engineering provides technical leadership for UPW, WWT, and waste chemical systems across global semiconductor sites. Develops standards, supports design and construction, drives standardization and sustainability programs, applies AI/digital tools for optimization, and leads reliability and capacity initiatives.

As a Metrology Application Engineer, you will develop measurement techniques, assist in evaluations, drive tool improvements, and analyze metrology capabilities to enhance operational quality and performance at Micron Technology.

The engineer will troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical equipment, optimize manufacturing processes, and perform equipment modifications as needed.

Own and sustain semiconductor manufacturing processes to improve yield, quality, and cycle time. Troubleshoot process issues using structured problem solving (RCA, FMEA, 8D), analyze SPC/FDC/APC data, adjust process parameters, qualify new equipment/materials, and lead cross-functional yield and productivity improvement initiatives including defect analysis and long-term investigations.

Lead manufacturing test development and validation for next-generation HBM products. Drive test coverage optimization, yield improvement, DFT strategy, reliability, and test-time reduction. Perform circuit debug and cross-functional execution with Fab, design, and test teams while mentoring others and making technical risk/prioritization decisions to enable scalable, cost-effective production.

Lead shift-level process development and operations for TD manufacturing, ensuring process stability, yield protection, and quality. Coordinate priorities with 1st shift, HVM Ops, and cross-functional teams; troubleshoot complex process and equipment issues using data-driven analysis; manage and develop engineers and technicians; drive continuous improvement, capacity planning, and control of chronic tool/process issues.

Lead validation strategy and architect scalable white-/grey-/black-box test frameworks for enterprise SSD firmware. Drive ML-powered test optimization, own end-to-end verification of NVMe front-end features, lead root-cause analysis, CI/CD test infrastructure, mentor engineers, and present technical findings to leadership.

Lead process integration for next-generation 3D NAND: identify module deficiencies, develop and implement process solutions, coordinate R&D-to-manufacturing transfers, drive CSPEC criteria and experiments, and lead cross-functional reviews to improve yield, quality, and manufacturability.

Drive labor productivity improvements and automation strategies while managing programs focused on AI, metrics tracking, and cross-site collaboration, ensuring delivery and measurable outcomes.

Identify, diagnose and resolve assembly process issues; coordinate process/equipment/material evaluations and implement optimizations; lead yield improvement and cost reduction; validate new process baselines and support new product introduction; support SPC/FDC/RMS/APC and site-to-site portability; manage and audit material suppliers; support internal and external audits.
