The AMOC Senior Systems Engineer will evaluate and analyze C4I communications capabilities, infrastructure, and ensure effective operations. Responsibilities include overseeing technical drawings and conducting bandwidth analysis.

Design, implement, and manage SAN/NAS storage and VMware virtualization (ESX/ESXi, vCenter, Update Manager). Develop automation/orchestration for storage/virtualization, troubleshoot performance/capacity/connectivity, ensure security/compliance, and document infrastructure while collaborating with development teams.

Integrate, test, and troubleshoot spaceflight payload hardware with emphasis on optical test sets. Develop and execute integration/test procedures, maintain logs and reports, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and suppliers, and provide technical support for optical performance verification in lab, cleanroom, or production environments.

Design, analyze, and maintain multi-classification enterprise WAN/LAN networks. Translate customer needs into hardware/software requirements, perform systems analysis, risk mitigation, documentation, readiness reviews, and lifecycle support. Coordinate stakeholders, evaluate technologies, and ensure systems comply with technical architecture and operational requirements.

Design, develop, integrate, test, debug, field, and support embedded electronic systems as part of a cross-functional team. Work directly on target hardware, produce technical documentation, and communicate progress and technical solutions to maximize team productivity.

Provide Tier II support for enterprise LAN/WAN across multiple classifications: install and maintain network devices, troubleshoot Layer 1-3 issues, perform IOS upgrades, manage configuration and asset records, draft and implement change requests, support Tier III engineers on incidents and projects, and use ServiceNow, Confluence, and Visio. Travel up to 20% and work flexible hours including weekends.

Provide Tier II network engineering and configuration management support for enterprise LAN/WAN environments across multiple classifications. Tasks include installation and maintenance of network devices, maintaining configuration baselines per DISA STIG, drafting and executing change requests, troubleshooting L1-L3 issues, producing network diagrams and documentation, supporting the Configuration Control Board, and administering CM records and tools (ServiceNow, Confluence, Visio).

Install, configure, test, monitor, and activate DISA/DoD network equipment and services. Coordinate with customers, architects, and vendors; manage service orders and TSOs; perform IT&A, troubleshooting, documentation, and network monitoring to validate deployed changes and ensure end-to-end connectivity.

Lead Linux systems engineering for enterprise and multi-cloud environments: administer, engineer, automate, and secure Red Hat/Rocky Linux systems; develop automation (scripts, config management), support O&M tasks, patching, and documentation; provide technical guidance and tune server performance.

Design, implement, and manage enterprise storage and VMware virtualization platforms (ESX/ESXi, vCenter), including SAN/NAS, automation/orchestration, troubleshooting, performance optimization, security/compliance configuration, and documentation. Collaborate with development and cross-functional teams to ensure integration and business continuity.
