The VP of Engineering, Vehicle leads the engineering team responsible for the development and operational readiness of space vehicles. Key duties include overseeing technical performance, budget management, and engineering leadership while ensuring the successful execution of vehicle programs, from design to production.

Lead end-to-end design, implementation, and flight test of guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) systems for reusable return vehicles. Tasks include algorithm development (EKF/UKF, LQR, optimal control), flight software in C++/Python, hardware integration, HIL and drop/flight testing, sensor fusion, trajectory and entry guidance, and ADCS requirements and performance specification.

Design, implement, and test end-to-end guidance, navigation, and control systems for return-from-orbit vehicles. Develop estimation (EKF/UKF) and control algorithms, build high-fidelity 6-DOF simulations, specify hardware, integrate flight software, support HIL and flight test campaigns, and iterate designs from flight data to achieve precise, robust entry and landing performance.
