Manages automation, controls engineering, facility maintenance, and distribution center engineering operations. Leads maintenance teams, preventive maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, equipment installation, continuous improvement, and facility projects. Develops automation and capital strategies, supports startup and validation, maintains CMMS documentation, ensures regulatory and workplace safety compliance, and manages budgets and cost-saving initiatives. Requires expertise in conveyors, robotics, PLCs, HMIs, controls integration, Intelligrated software, and Lean or Six Sigma improvement methods.

Diagnose and repair complex industrial automation and control system failures involving PLCs, HMIs, servos, VFDs, motion controls, robotics, and electrical systems. Modify PLC and HMI programs, maintain industrial networks, support installations and upgrades, analyze downtime, implement corrective actions, train personnel, and contribute to continuous improvement. Requires off-shift support, emergency response, physical work, and 3–5 years supporting automated manufacturing equipment.

Designs and optimizes mechanical production processes and equipment for composite decking manufacturing. Responsibilities include CAD design, equipment evaluation and modification, process and material optimization, product and process launches, safety engineering, data analysis, root cause analysis, FMEA, RCM, continuous improvement, capital projects, reporting, and mentoring technical colleagues.
