Develop and mature R&D manufacturing processes from technical demonstration through production transfer. Design, develop, test, commission, and improve automated manufacturing equipment from concept through production. Evaluate vendors, perform failure mode analysis, troubleshoot production issues, implement engineering changes, and ensure equipment meets throughput, quality, safety, and reliability requirements. Collaborate with production and process engineering teams, document equipment for operators, and support commissioning and handoff into reliable production use.

Develops and improves production processes, equipment, automation, and workflows for aerospace manufacturing. The engineer supports design-for-manufacturability, low-rate-to-volume production transitions, throughput optimization, equipment uptime, process validation, and quality. Responsibilities include analyzing technical data, implementing automation, qualifying industrial equipment, and collaborating with production, engineering, operations, and technicians to improve factory execution and manufacturing reliability.
