The Senior Fluids Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the mechanical and structural implementation of the stage fluid systems for our Terran R launch vehicle. They will work on fluids routing, design trade studies, hardware mounting structure design, and incorporate 3D printing methods into their designs. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, at least 4 years of mechanical design experience, proficiency in commercial CAD packages, and experience with GD&T and FEA analysis.

Responsible for layout, design, analysis, and build of hardware for Aeon-R propulsion systems. Collaborate with propulsion teams, vehicle team, manufacturing/integration teams, and test teams. Use CAD software and apply fluid dynamics and structural analysis. Experience with large CAD model management and finite element analysis is preferred.

As a Senior Thermal Engineer, you will work collaboratively with the Stage Engineering, Additive, Propulsion, Avionics, and Test teams to deliver thermal analysis and test projects on time and budget, while meeting our technical requirements.

The Materials & Processes Engineer II will be responsible for researching, selecting, developing, analyzing, and implementing material-process systems for key structures, mechanisms, fluid systems, and propulsion sub-systems. They will work closely with various teams and stakeholders to drive materials selection, process control, and troubleshooting initiatives. A bachelor's degree in materials science or engineering, or a related field, is required, along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsible for metallics materials and processes for Terran-R structures, mechanisms, fluid systems, and propulsion sub-systems. Research and select materials and processes, develop and maintain requirements and specifications, drive experimental design and process control initiatives, collaborate with various teams, and overcome challenges.

Serve as a responsible metallics M&P engineer for key Terran-R structures, mechanisms, fluid systems, and propulsion sub-systems.

Develop and execute CFD analyses to solve novel challenges in vehicle entry heating and supersonic retropropulsion. Drive the design of major system elements to meet criteria for temperature and heating. Guide and mentor hardware engineers to ensure hardware meets aerothermal requirements.
