The Sr. Writer - Design Systems & Governance will focus on developing design governance frameworks, ensuring consistency and quality across design assets, and collaborating with various teams to enhance user experience and product design.

Lead creation of next-generation in-vehicle UX through concept visualization, motion and 3D work, design systems, and prototypes. Produce high-fidelity visuals, stories, and interactive prototypes; iterate on interaction models; collaborate with engineering, product, and suppliers to influence product decisions.

Design, build, and maintain reusable components and patterns in the GM Design System. Create and manage Figma libraries, UI kits, tokens, and documentation. Collaborate with product designers and front-end engineers to ensure accessible, consistent, and scalable implementations across web, mobile, and vehicle OS. Conduct audits and propose system improvements.

Lead design-system work across vehicle, mobile and web: create components, patterns, design tokens and grids; collaborate with UI, UX, accessibility and front-end teams to implement cohesive, cross-platform systems.

Envision future in-vehicle experiences through foresight, conceptual visualization, animation, prototyping, and 2D/3D design. Create storyboards, UI explorations, motion graphics, and presentation-ready design assets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate emerging trends and technologies into compelling customer-centered vehicle experience concepts and handoff-ready visuals.

The role involves designing in-vehicle digital experiences, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering production-ready interaction designs while maintaining usability and technical excellence.

Lead the design of advanced driver assistance systems, focusing on user experience and safety, while managing a multidisciplinary team and collaborating cross-functionally.

Design in-vehicle digital interfaces (instrument clusters, touchscreens, HUD). Create visual concepts, UI assets, prototypes, animations, and production-ready graphics. Apply brand guidelines, collaborate with design/engineering/research, iterate from usability feedback, and deliver handoff-ready design files and documentation.
