Develop production enterprise systems for Finance and Accounting teams using AI-assisted coding. Partner directly with stakeholders to understand finance and accounting workflows, identify improvements, translate use cases into code, and deliver solutions through production. Translates business requirements into scalable technical solutions, performs systems analysis and unit testing, manages production issues, ensures SDLC and architectural compliance, and provides design recommendations. The role also supports project planning, collaborates with clients and business analysts, and mentors less experienced developers.

The Quality Engineer ensures compliance with customer, statutory, and regulatory requirements in aerospace manufacturing. Responsibilities include developing inspection criteria, maintaining specifications and documentation, managing corrective actions, dispositioning nonconforming materials, evaluating suppliers, establishing inspection and SPC plans, preparing PPAPs and PFMEAs, reviewing purchase orders, supporting audits, and completing AS9102 inspection forms. The role also supports continuous improvement, customer interactions, deviations, and management presentations.

Leads UBC’s Platform Development team, overseeing software architecture, application delivery, platform modernization, and engineering standards. Manages architects, development managers, and software engineers while guiding SDLC practices, Agile delivery, CI/CD, testing, deployment, documentation, security, and operational support. Defines enterprise platform roadmaps involving APIs, workflow orchestration, integrations, event-driven architecture, data systems, and AI-enabled automation. Partners with Information Security and Enterprise Architecture to deliver scalable, secure solutions in an FDA-regulated environment.

Leads the DevOps Engineering department and owns CI/CD architecture, DevSecOps security controls, ephemeral environments, release management, Kubernetes deployments, and progressive delivery strategies. Builds and mentors the engineering team, establishes DORA metrics, partners with Security, Engineering, QA, and Cloud Infrastructure, and drives deployment reliability, automated rollback, incident response, and long-term pipeline and environment roadmaps.

Build scalable backend services, APIs, workflow orchestration, integrations, and AI agent infrastructure for enterprise procurement, invoicing, contracts, and payments. Develop agent runtimes, multi-agent coordination, observability, evaluation, and testing systems. Ensure reliability, security, compliance, auditability, performance, and fault tolerance across distributed systems handling sensitive financial and operational data.

Participates in a 10–12 week engineering internship focused on reliability data gathering, verification, analysis, and strategy. Duties include supporting risk-based inspection and mechanical integrity programs, reviewing P&IDs and engineering drawings, extracting equipment and piping data, generating facility risk profiles, contributing to asset optimization studies, completing project deliverables, tracking performance metrics, and presenting final work.
