Lead the architecture and technical standards for Curaleaf’s data and analytics ecosystem. Design secure, scalable Snowflake environments; establish SQL, Python, dbt, modeling, testing, CI/CD, and governance practices; and develop reusable data products and platform capabilities. Partner with engineering, analytics, data science, governance, and business teams, guide technical roadmaps, optimize performance and costs, lead incident reviews, and mentor engineers through cross-team technical influence without direct people management.

Designs and maintains Snowflake data models and ingestion pipelines supporting enterprise reporting across retail, cultivation, manufacturing, marketing, and finance. Refactors Power BI logic into governed, tested, version-controlled warehouse models; establishes modeling standards, data quality monitoring, documentation, and lineage. Partners with analysts and stakeholders to develop reusable reporting solutions, supports semantic and BI tooling, evaluates data platform technologies, mentors analysts, and contributes to shared pipeline ownership.

Manage client onboarding data migrations and ETL implementations, transforming inventory, customer, catalog, and transaction data into Sweed’s platform. Own implementation tickets and projects, follow and improve SOPs and quality checks, troubleshoot integrations, communicate timelines, lead client meetings, and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders. The role also includes mentoring teammates, handling emergencies, and ensuring accurate, compliant, repeatable launches.

Transform commercial, market, consumer, and portfolio data into actionable insights. Build and maintain dashboards and KPI reporting, analyze performance and competitive trends, support pricing, assortment, and launch decisions, and deliver executive-ready recommendations while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and commercial alignment.
