Requires travel within and outside the continental United States 15%–20% of the time.

Lead SOC operations and incident response for globally distributed satellite ground stations and cloud infrastructure. Build and tune SIEM detection rules, perform digital forensics and malware analysis, hunt advanced threats across space infrastructure, create incident response playbooks, integrate threat intelligence, and develop security automation for monitoring and response.

Lead a DevSecOps team to build and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. Integrate security across the SDLC, implement IaC security best practices, automate SAST/DAST/SCA/container scanning and secrets detection, coordinate vulnerability remediation, ensure compliance (HIPAA, NIST, FedRAMP, ITAR/EAR), manage KPIs, and support CI/CD for embedded devices/RTOS in a regulated aerospace environment.

Support DoD research by managing technology, engaging performers, reviewing deliverables, and leading calls regarding technical matters. Requires experience in military cyber operations and agents interaction.

Supervise a cybersecurity section: manage staff schedules, performance, hiring recommendations, budgets, and act as POC. Develop and implement cybersecurity programs and controls, support China Lake range accreditation, collaborate with government counterparts, and perform occasional field work and travel. On-site at China Lake; U.S. citizenship required; active Secret clearance preferred.

Serve as the ISSO for a high-visibility DoD program: develop and enforce security policies, perform vulnerability assessments (ACAS, STIGs, SCAP), implement DISA-approved configurations, conduct continuous monitoring, prepare ATO documentation (SSP, POA&Ms), perform risk assessments for satellite communications, and coordinate cross-functional cybersecurity efforts to mitigate risks and support authorization decisions.

Manage daily operations of Privilege Identity applications and monitor SIEM services within the IAM infrastructure. Handle end-user escalations, maintain and update documentation, review and improve PI and SIEM processes, and evolve into strategic IAM responsibilities as services expand globally.

Lead design, implementation, and hardening of Windows infrastructure for air traffic control systems. Responsibilities include AD and GPO management, Windows Deployment Services, PowerShell automation, security assessments/pen‑testing, endpoint protection deployment, RBAC and least‑privilege models, remediation of vulnerabilities, documentation, and guiding deployment and security teams to meet regulatory and customer requirements.

Lead IT security architect responsible for AWS security architecture, compliance (NIST 800-171/CMMC), and GovCloud IL5/IL6 deployments. Maintain SSP, POA&Ms, evidence, and remediation tracking; coordinate with auditors and customer ISSM/ISSO; partner with DevSecOps and Engineering to implement secure baselines, logging, monitoring, encryption, segmentation, vulnerability management, and incident response for regulated environments.
