Develop secure platform services and security features using Go, Scala, or Python; identify attack surfaces, harden products, debug system issues, and participate in security code and design reviews. Collaborate across engineering and product teams, contribute to secure coding guidelines, and assess AI-generated code and AI-powered features. The role offers mentorship in cryptography, threat modeling, distributed systems, API security, and system-level testing.

Leads Rubrik’s commercial and FedRAMP Security Operations Center, overseeing 24/7 monitoring, incident response, detection engineering, analyst development, compliance, and executive reporting. Owns SOC strategy, staffing, metrics, technology roadmaps, SIEM/SOAR decisions, and AI-enabled automation to reduce alert fatigue and improve investigations. Partners across security teams to expand coverage, mature processes, support audits, and strengthen detection and response across cloud, SaaS, on-premises, and regulated environments.

Designs and builds scalable IAM solutions across cloud, SaaS, and internal applications. Responsibilities include application onboarding, provisioning and access certification, policy-as-code automation, privileged access management, non-human identity governance, platform auditing, incident response support, on-call coverage, and technical governance. The role requires cross-functional leadership, hands-on engineering, least-privilege model design, and translating regulatory controls into secure identity infrastructure.

Designs and governs secure multi-cloud foundations across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI. Responsibilities include cloud onboarding, landing zones, IAM and policy management, security controls, compliance audits, vulnerability remediation, Infrastructure-as-Code automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud cost optimization. The role also partners with engineering and security teams, addresses customer infrastructure needs, and mentors other engineers.

Designs, builds, and hardens identity and access systems for Rubrik’s on-premise data protection platform. Responsibilities include OIDC/OAuth and SAML integrations, token and assertion lifecycle management, cryptography and PKI, reverse-proxy components, customer issue resolution, cross-platform packaging, Windows application maintenance, end-to-end testing, documentation, and stakeholder communication.

Design, build, and secure identity and access systems using OIDC/OAuth 2.0, SAML, Active Directory, JWT/JWKS, X.509, PKI, and TLS. Own authentication token lifecycles, reverse-proxy components, end-to-end testing, customer identity troubleshooting, packaging, documentation, and a Windows C#/.NET companion application.
