Advises enterprise customers on transitioning from legacy network and perimeter architectures to Zero Trust Architecture using Zscaler’s platform. Leads consultative discovery and design workshops, develops high-level architectures and phased adoption roadmaps, and collaborates with customer, partner, and internal teams. Requires deep expertise in networking, cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, compliance frameworks, and advanced solution selling, plus the ability to communicate with both executives and technical audiences.

Provides technical leadership for Zscaler Zero Trust Browser solutions across the sales lifecycle. Leads executive briefings, technical workshops, proof-of-value evaluations, deployments, and architecture discussions. Develops technical collateral, demos, test plans, and reference architectures while articulating browser security controls such as threat prevention, monitoring, DLP, private application access, and privileged remote access. Partners with sales and engineering to support customer outcomes, product enhancements, and successful technical wins.

Design, build, and operate high-scale cloud systems; provide architecture guidance; enforce coding, testing, observability, and CI/CD best practices; lead performance and reliability improvements; drive cross-team initiatives; respond to on-call incidents and produce RCAs; work with cloud infrastructure and data technologies.

Lead end-to-end technical programs across multiple engineering orgs: design a centralized intake, run execution and release reviews, coordinate cross-functional release readiness, replace manual tracking with JIRA-based SDLC structures, and drive delivery predictability and process maturity.

Owns a cybersecurity detection coverage area, including backlog prioritization, technical direction, detector design, implementation, code reviews, tuning, and performance measurement. The role improves detection fidelity, ATT&CK coverage, false-positive reduction, and regression prevention while translating threat intelligence, threat hunting, and SOC feedback into roadmap priorities. It requires deep expertise in at least one detection domain and hands-on detector-as-code development with version control and controlled deployment.

Own the technical sale for major enterprise accounts: advise on cloud security and AI-driven solutions, qualify opportunities, design and demo architectures, build trusted advisor relationships, and drive successful deployments.

Lead technical sales for public sector customers: provide thought leadership, own technical sales processes, qualify opportunities, deliver demos, whiteboards, and ensure successful cloud security deployments.

Lead development of identity management products and build scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs using Java. Write unit, integration, and performance tests; monitor, debug, and optimize systems. Collaborate with Product Management, IAM, and business teams on integrated solutions and Agile delivery. Participate in on-call support for a highly available platform while maintaining compliance with federal guidelines.

Lead the design, delivery, and production operation of major security product capabilities. Define secure, scalable architectures and balance security, privacy, reliability, performance, and usability. Lead complex technical investigations, improve engineering practices and operational readiness, mentor engineers through reviews, and shape long-term architecture in partnership with product and research teams.

Lead complex enterprise data security deployments and serve as the technical authority for the Data Security portfolio. Develop reference architectures, playbooks, templates, runbooks, and field methodologies; enable and mentor delivery teams; maintain a validation lab; and convert escalations into reusable assets. Own new product introduction for data protection releases, partnering with Product teams before and after general availability. The role requires deep expertise in enterprise security, data protection, integrations, and regulatory standards.
