🚀 Project OverviewSet within a fast-paced, high-stakes corporate landscape, this role bridges the traditional gap between the corporate IT infrastructure squad and the core Accounting/Finance divisions.

Because the system is actively live, changes must be managed with absolute precision and zero room for structural error. We need a seasoned expert who can confidently take ultimate technical ownership. The project encompasses heavy system optimization, integrating new business pricing strategies, securing system communication across Salesforce or NetSuite, and safeguarding strict compliance frameworks during high-pressure month-end closes.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Platform Evolution & Scaling: Take ultimate technical ownership to safely scale, refactor, and expand live Zuora platform capabilities in mid-air without disrupting ongoing business operations.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Bridge the traditional operational gap between the corporate IT infrastructure squad and core Accounting/Finance divisions.
• System Optimization & Integration: Drive heavy system optimizations and secure multi-system data flows across enterprise architectures (Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, or SAP).
• Compliance Safeguarding: Ensure strict adherence to financial compliance frameworks during critical month-end closes while integrating new business pricing strategies.
• Executive Translation: Translate dense technical configurations and platform architectures into clear, actionable business impacts for non-technical Finance stakeholders and corporate leadership.

💡 Must-Have Skills

• 4+ years of deep, hands-on architectural experience navigating both Zuora Billing and Zuora Revenue within active, live production environments.
• Financial Compliance Literacy: A rock-solid, practical understanding of ASC 606 / IFRS 15 accounting frameworks and real-world corporate revenue recognition mechanics.
• Integration Fluency: Strong experience manipulating APIs, managing middleware data streams, and troubleshooting complex multi-system data flows.
• Enterprise ERP/CRM Ecosystems: Practical familiarity with how Zuora interfaces with major enterprise business suites (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, or SAP).
• Executive Communication: Elite soft skills with the distinct ability to seamlessly communicate technical complexities to non-technical financial stakeholders.

• Accounting Credentials: Holding a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) designation or possessing a formal accounting/finance corporate background.
• Platform Evolution Scale: Direct, prior experience evolving, optimizing, and scaling a live, running Zuora platform already handling significant processing volumes (as opposed to merely building clean-slate, greenfield implementations).
