Job Summary:
Cabinetry Designer & Sales Specialists are responsible for meeting with customers to understand their needs in regards to designing a kitchen, bath, or other living space.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
- Establishing new business and maintaining relationships with builders, remodelers and installers
- Scheduling appointments with customers at showroom or at the jobsite
- Consulting with contractors and customers
- Assisting customers or contractors with product selections
- Performing onsite measures
- Designing layouts with 20/20 Design software as requested from blueprints or sketches
- Preparing job quotations
- Placing orders, checking acknowledgements, and scheduling deliveries
- Communicating with inside support staff and yard staff
- Meeting with vendor reps and attending trade shows or seminars to stay current with the kitchen and bath market
Requirements
- Requires an associate's degree in design and 2+ years of related job experience or 2-4 year degree related to business or construction industry.
- Mathematical skills required to add, subtract, multiply, divide, measurements of square foot and cubic foot
- Knowledge of design software
- Requires great oral and written communication skills in order to interact with employees and customers

- Knowledge of design software (experience with 20/20 Design preferred)
