Job DescriptionResponsibilities:
Develop and implement a content strategy and calendar, creating and publishing videos, and editing and optimizing videos for search;
Maintain content release calendar;
Manage overall look and design of channel (branding, channel banner design, about us section, etc.);
Draft community posts that promote channel manager's channel and other channels' releases across The WNET Group;
Monitor copyright claims against the channel and work with producers, music services and legal to clear the copyright claims;
Produce YouTube lives, when necessary;
Interacting with and growing the audience, responding to comments, and moderating the community;
Analyze data and metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement;
Developing and implementing a channel marketing strategy, including paid and organic search, social, and display advertising;
Partner with audience engagement to implement audience development strategies on and off YouTube to increase viewing and subscriber numbers;
Analyze trends and identify topics for video creation;
Collaborate with other creators and influencers to create cross-promotion and collaboration opportunities;
Keep up to date with YouTube platform developments, trends, and training;
Other relevant duties, as assigned.
Qualifications include:
Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience;
Familiarity with video platforms, publishing tools, and digital strategy best practices;
Strong communication, writing, and editing skills;
Ability to interpret data and apply insights to improve content performance;
Comfortable working cross-functionally and managing multiple projects at once.

The WNET Group offers competitive salaries, excellent benefits, and a supportive working environment. Salary ranges are based on benchmarked nonprofit and industry related data provided by an outside consulting firm and are commensurate with skills and experience. The hiring salary range for this position is $85,000 to $92,000. Internal equity considerations will be reviewed before making a final offer.
