What We Do
Laude Institute backs computer science researchers turning research into real-world impact. We combine grantmaking with hands-on support to help researchers make more breakthroughs faster and get them into people's hands. From early stage ideas to open-source projects and multi-year labs, we partner with those working on humanity-level problems at the frontiers of computing. We operate and support research in the open: open publication, open source, and open discourse. Laude Institute is funded by individual technologists, anchored by a $100M pledge from Andy Konwinski. Our growing community of impact researchers hails from leading academic and industry labs. Your research can change billions of lives and we are here to help. This is just the beginning, and we intend to build out loud.
