Are you passionate about industrial processes and looking for an enriching experience abroad? Join our team in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, USA as a Yeast Extract Process Engineer under a VIE contract!
The job at a glance
For 18 months, you will be involved in optimizing production processes, supporting new equipment start-ups, and contributing to new product development.
What you will do
⚙️ Optimize production processes (autolysis, microfiltration, drying, etc.) alongside the group's industrial management
🔥 Support the drying department at Cedar Rapids
📈 Conduct and coordinate studies and continuous improvement actions in terms of time, organization, and cost
🚀 Participate in the start-up of new installations
🛠 Lead industrial trials
🔍 Take on other assigned projects
Qualifications
The ideal profile
🎓 Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in food-industrial engineering
🏭 At least 1 year of industrial field experience (postgraduate)
💬 Fluent English is mandatory
🔬 Solid knowledge of unit operations of industrial processes
🤝 Ability to work in a multicultural environment with autonomy, initiative, and teamwork skills
🗣 Strong communication skills and a hands-on engineering mindset
