Shipping and Receiving – 50%
- Accurately handle all incoming and outgoing paperwork.
- Follow approved shipping and receiving protocol.
- Load and unload customer parts and components.
Routine Maintenance and House Keeping – 50%
- Maintain yard organization and cleanliness to align with Finning housekeeping and safety standards.
- Support routine building and yard maintenance
- Perform other related duties as requested.
Specific Skills:
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a face paced team environment.
- Self-motivated and a team player with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to form strong relationships with customers and co-workers.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Minimum six months of operating experience of rough terrain forklift, counterbalance forklift, Large forklift (>30,000 Lbs.) and/or operating construction equipment.
- Solid understanding of rental equipment and possess sufficient mechanical skills to perform and/or recommend minor equipment repairs.
- Strong organizational skills, with good attention to detail.
- Committed to a safe work environment, able to work with minimal supervision.
- Due to physical nature of the work, a requirement of the job is to be considered fit for work.
Important Information:
- This position is based in Fort Mckay, AB on a 14x14 Shift - Day and Night Rotation.
- Valid Driver's License with successful recent driver abstract, due to safety requirements must be minimum 21 years of age.
- Hours and shift schedule may be subject to change to meet customer and/or Finning (Canada) requirements. Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement
