Job Summary:

Under close supervision, this position is responsible for positioning truck tractors and trailers to ensure a safe and efficient operation by moving equipment to and from loading docks, maintenance bays and other designated areas.  This position has the possibility to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends in addition to overtime; it requires full-time attendance.  

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Move and position equipment on company facilities according to operations and maintenance needs
• Perform other duties as required or assigned
• Observe all Company safety requirements
• Perform daily yard checks including inventory and counts
• Inspect truck equipment and gear for safe operation and compliance company regulations and procedures

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualification:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent; or up to 1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of experience and education and a valid driver's license; ability to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends if needed

• Ability to fulfill physical requirements of the job including: lifting above 50 lbs.., bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to wear appropriate work attire (protective gear/PPE).

The expected starting pay range for this position is between $20.93 – $26.17.

This position is not eligible for employment-based sponsorship.

Compensation:

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.  This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
