Job Description:

Essential Job Functions:

Y-Hire Accounting Consultant
This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements for clients. This role is primarily remote with less than 10% potential travel.
Responsibilities:
• Monthly recurring accounting services for clients
• Review vendor invoices for appropriate accounting recording.
• Reconcile bank accounts.
• Record bank account and credit card transactions to the appropriate general ledger accounts.
• Assist with payroll management through ADP, Gusto, or other payroll provider.
• Perform account reconciliations for all significant balance sheet accounts.
• Complete full-cycle accounting activities, including month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, variance analysis, etc.
• Prepare month-end financial reports including the Comparative Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow, and other related specialized reports based on management needs.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, financial reporting, and analyses.
• Prepare payroll entries and monthly accruals.
• Special projects such as accounting records cleanup, budgets and forecasts
• Accounts payable processing
• Accounts receivable processing
• Preparing schedules for external auditors and tax CPAs
• Limited networking and relationship management.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $62,000 - $100,000 per year.
