We currently have a vacancy for a XML Expert fluent in English to offer his/her services as an expert. The work will be carried out remotely within the EU. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated and closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team, remotely.
Your tasks
- Development of front-end website architecture and back-end website applications ;
- Design of user interactions on web pages;
- Design responsive applications;
- Design and develop APIs;
- Participating in the design and creation of scalable software;
- Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues.
- University degree in IT or relevant discipline combined with 13 years of relevant experience;
- Excellent experience with implementing solutions based on XML technologies and possibly semantic technologies/ontologies, for the purpose of data and metadata exchanges;
- Experience with implementing models as standardised (XML) schemas;
- Good knowledge in several of technologies and tools such as: XML, DTD, XML Schema, Schematron, XPATH/XSLT, XHTML, HTML4, HTML5, UTF8, XSL-FO, PDF/A, PDF/UA, CSS, SGML, Java, Perl, DITA, XML editors, Protégé, Virtuoso;
- Experience with JIRA, SVN, GIT, Visio;
- Excellent command of the English language, French is an asset.
