Job description

As a senior finance manager at Xebo.ai , you will be responsible for the financial planning and analysis of the company. You will work with the CEO and other members of the team to develop long-term financial plans and strategies. You will also be responsible for overseeing the budgeting process, preparing financial reports, and analysing financial data to help the company make informed decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, and financial analysis. They will also be able to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial managers and executives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the financial operations of the company and provide leadership to the finance team

• Develop and implement financial strategies in line with the company’s business goals

• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to the Board of Directors

• Must have experience in auditing and payroll

• Manage the development and implementation of the accounting system

• Oversee the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations

• Negotiate and manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other creditors

• Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts

• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements

• Supervise the finance team and provide mentorship and guidance

• Handle special projects as assigned by the CEO or Board of Directors

• Keep abreast of developments in the field of finance and share knowledge with the team

• Perform any other duties as required by the CEO or Board of Directors

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of auditing experience

• Qualified one or the other level of CA

• Financial advising license produced by the state

• Good communication skills

• Strong drive and positive attitude

• Strong leadership skills

• Able to effectively influence and develop strong relationships

• Good knowledge of GAPP, IAS, SAS, and IFRS

• Experience in ACCPAC or ORACLE preferred

Skills Required

  • Minimum 2 years auditing experience
  • Experience with payroll
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) level
  • State-issued financial advising license
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong drive and positive attitude
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to influence and build relationships
  • Good knowledge of GAPP, IAS, SAS, and IFRS
  • Experience in ACCPAC or ORACLE
  • Experience managing implementation of accounting systems
