XC-JP is representing Cross-Domain Computing Solutions in Japan, XC-JP is a key driver of business expansion. The mission at XC-CE is engineering and acquisition support for XC’s body electronics products, including “Perfectly keyless”, a smartphone-based vehicle entry system.
Job Description
Mobility as a service is predicted to reshape the automotive industry. In this new era, “virtual” car keys that can be shared between users is a must! We already see that some markets in China are completely replacing traditional keys with smartphones, and this trend is expected to spread worldwide. With Perfectly Keyless, XC is ideally positioned to catch this momentum, but to be successful in Japan, we will need the support from new talents!
Your tasks will be:
Manage the balance between customer requirements, platform roadmap together with system engineers in Japan and development teams in Australia and Germany.
Internal communication and acquisition adjustment.
Business trips:
Domestic:~1 day/week
Overseas:1-2 times/year (Germany, Australia)
Qualifications
Employee (except shokutaku contracted)
Automotive background
Experience in requirements/system engineering
Engineering background from at least one of the following technical domains
- Electronics hardware
- Software
- Mechanics
Willingness to learn new topics in an international environment
The following is a plus: knowledge of radio communications like Bluetooth
Good English skills for internal communication
Proficient Japanese for customer presentation
