Job Description
Key tasks & responsibilities:
- Define the acquisition/pricing strategy for specific OEM sourcing and quotation of ECM-/RPP-measures; select, define & apply acquisition tools (battle plan e.g., job stopper, war gaming, specific acquisition man-mapping), aligned with GCT/RCT/EO; obtain required releases compliant with Acquire Business Process standards; prepare and trigger release of customer quotation letter, compliant with Sales Business Frames standards; secure performing of Starts Control measures for High-Risk-Acquisitions (e. g. Assessment, Focus Area Matrix, quantitative Risk Management);manage acquisition negotiations within released bottom line (product price, application costs, tooling, logistics, samples etc.); assure/prepare proper project handover and documentation with Customer Project Manager and Commercial Manager; prepare lessons learned after each acquisition, incl. won/lost analysis, ensure and provide best practice exchange with other accounts
- Coordination with overseas / domestic sales colleagues, engineering team and manufacturing locations.
- Customer interface in Japan
Qualifications
Mandatory:
- Strong communication skill
- Language
- Japanese (business level)
- English (business level)
- Knowledge of automotive business
Preferred:
- Experience as sales or engineer
