WPS Accountant

Main Responsibilities:

Implement and/or Setup Process & System Deployment, Controls and Compliance:

• Align internal controls to ensure compliance with WPS process.
• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure a smooth audit process.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns.

General Ledger & Financial Reporting:

• Maintain the general ledger and oversee day-to-day accounting activities to ensure a proper interaction and flow of information with other departments.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow management.
• Monitor account receivables, reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Ensuring correct and timely payments to suppliers
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, IFRS standards and regulatory requirements.

Financial Analysis & Budgeting:

• Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
• Provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with business leaders to develop and monitor budgets, and forecasts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (formal degree)
• 1-3 years of experience in the accounting field.
• Exposure in IFRS will be an added advantage.
• Chief Accountant Certification or any other certification in finance and accounting will be preferred.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good in communication and collaboration.
• Intermediate-Upper intermediate level (spoken and written English)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Compensation:

Up to VND19,000,000. However, higher salary can be negotiable with strong experience and qualifications. We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
