The purpose of this role is identify, obtain, and review all relevant medical, allied health, and factual information to support claimants to ensure they receive the correct Whole Person Impairment entitlements.
This will be a full-time, permanent position based in the Adelaide office, with flexibility to work from home up to 2 days a week once fully trained.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proactively manage a portfolio of Whole Person Impairment claims in line with applicable guidelines, procedures, and timeframes
- Liaise with all internal and external stakeholders regularly to progress strategies and actions
- Support workers and employers with the Whole Person Impairment process
- Construct and maintain a book of documents, which includes all relevant and necessary information
- Draft and send comprehensive Whole Person Impairment assessment requests
- Make decisions which ensure claimants receive the correct entitlements
ABOUT YOU
- Great attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An understanding of the relevant Workers Compensation legislation and medical terminology are advantageous but not mandatory
- Tertiary studies in Allied Health (Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, Nursing, Psychology) is advantageous but not mandatory
