What we offer:
To support the operation of the Bridgend Depot to maximise the amount of time workshop engineers are fully productive. Primary duties are listed below but you will be asked to undertake additional duties as directed by your manager
Loading and unloading FLT’s and associated equipment and any other deliveries or collections from the depot, assist in locating equipment for collection.
Organisation of the yard and associated storage area (s)
Cleaning of FLT’s and associated equipment
Dealing with the disposal of all scrap equipment including the removal parts identified for future use
Dealing with trucks identified for trade and assisting in the loading of vehicles
Body work repairs ranging from filling, sanding and painting of body panels and associated FLT parts
Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the workshop and storage areas.
Tasks and Qualifications:
- Proven experience of having demonstrated an ability to work in a team and a desire to promote quality customer service
- Excellent communication skills at all levels of the business both verbally and written
- Optimistic and enthusiastic outlook with the desire to ‘go the extra mile’ to deliver to customer expectations Good levels of numeracy / literacy
- Energetic, motivated and pro-active team player
- Full driving license
- Forklift truck driving license preferable but not essential as training will be provided
Experience of working in a similar workshop or logistics environment
