Location: Manesar, India (with responsibility for Agilent sites across India)

Position Overview

The Workplace Services (WPS) Operations is responsible for leading workplace operations across Agilent's India portfolio, ensuring safe, compliant, cost-effective, and customer-focused workplace services that support business growth and employee experience.

The role serves as the primary Workplace Services business partner for India field sites and works closely with site leadership, functional leaders, Workplace Services regional teams, and strategic service providers to deliver operational excellence, compliance, workplace projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

Workplace Operations Leadership

    • Lead day-to-day Workplace Services operations across India field sites and facilities.
    • Ensure consistent delivery of workplace services aligned with business requirements and company standards.
    • Drive operational excellence, service quality, governance, and customer satisfaction.
    • Act as the primary escalation point for workplace operational issues.

Facilities & Real Estate Management

    • Oversee facility operations across India field locations.
    • Manage strategic facility management partners and service providers.
    • Support lease administration, landlord management, workplace planning, and occupancy optimization.
    • Ensure facilities support business continuity and operational requirements

Vendor & Service Provider Management

    • Manage key workplace service providers, including:
      • Facilities Management
      • Security
      • Travel Services
      • Fleet and Transportation Programs
      • Food and Catering Services
      • Workplace Support Services
    • Establish governance processes, KPIs, SLAs, business reviews, and continuous improvement programs.
    • Drive supplier performance, cost optimization, and service innovation

Business Engagement & Customer Experience

    • Build strong relationships with business leaders and key stakeholders.
    • Understand evolving business needs and translate them into workplace solutions.
    • Promote a customer-centric culture focused on responsiveness and service excellence.
    • Lead workplace communications and change management activities.

Compliance, Risk & Business Continuity

    • Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace standards, and local regulatory requirements.
    • Partner closely with EHS, Security, HR, Legal, and Procurement teams.
    • Support audits, inspections, risk assessments, and corrective action programs.
    • Participate in business continuity and crisis management activities

Projects & Workplace Transformation

    • Support site expansions, relocations, workplace upgrades, and employee experience initiatives.
    • Lead local implementation of workplace transformation projects.
    • Coordinate cross-functional project teams and external consultants.
    • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Financial Management

    • Manage operational budgets and forecast workplace expenditures.
    • Identify productivity opportunities and cost-saving initiatives.
    • Monitor supplier performance against financial and operational objectives.
    • Support annual planning and capital funding requests.

Leadership & Team Development

    • Lead and influence cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
    • Coach contractors, service providers, and workplace professionals.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
       
Qualifications

Qualifications

Required

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Facilities Management, Real Estate, or related field.
    • 8+ years of experience in Workplace Services, Facilities Management, Real Estate Operations, Corporate Services, or similar operational leadership roles.
    • Experience managing multi-site operations and outsourced service providers.
    • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
    • Experience leading workplace projects and operational improvements.
    • Strong financial and business acumen.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred

    • Experience within a multinational corporation.
    • Experience supporting laboratory, engineering, R&D, manufacturing, or technology environments.
    • Professional qualifications in Facilities Management, Real Estate, Project Management, or Workplace Strategy.
    • Experience with workplace technology, space management, and employee experience platforms.
