Work Timing: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM IST (Standard business hours with flexibility based on leadership needs)

We’re looking for a People & Workplace Experience Specialist to join our growing India team at Banyan Velocity. This is a dynamic, hybrid role that combines executive assistance and office administration responsibilities. As the face of our Chennai office, you’ll play a pivotal role in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and creating a welcoming and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:Office Management / Workplace Experience – 70%Coordinate office operations with WeWork (gate passes, seating, branding)
Manage courier services and vendor relationships
Oversee procurement, invoices, POs, and deliveries
Organize employee engagement events and team logistics
Support onboarding/offboarding logistics
Maintain and update the India office playbook
Assist with employee/visitor travel logistics
Reports to: Site Lead
HR Coordination – 25%Generate reports on leave, attendance, and onboarding/offboarding
Validate leave and attendance data
Provide HRIS reports to OpCo managers and HQ HR
Handle HR documentation and ensure compliance
Reports to: India HR Lead
Executive Calendar Management – 5%Manage calendar for the Site Lead
Schedule meetings with vendors, candidates, new hires, and OpCo leadership
Reports to: Site Lead
Preferred Skills & Experience:3–6 years of experience in a similar role supporting senior leaders or India operations, ideally in a tech or software engineering firm
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (G-Suite)
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Professional, self-starter, collaborative, and problem-solving mindset
