What We Are Looking For:

Distyl is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Workplace Experience Manager to design and lead the daily experience of our people in the office. This role ensures our workspace is efficient, engaging, and aligned with our culture, enabling our teams to do their best work. You will own day-to-day office operations, employee services, vendor management, and culture-driving programs that make Distyl a great place to work.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at managing multiple priorities, and has a strong passion for enabling team success through operational excellence. You will support office logistics, operations, and culture initiatives, ensuring that Distyl continues to attract top talent and operate efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:Office Operations
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the office (facilities, supplies, space planning, seating charts, equipment).

  • Manage relationships with building management and external vendors (cleaning, security, catering).

  • On-site five days per week.

  • Oversee and collaborate with the Office Coordinator to ensure the NY office operates smoothly and efficiently.

  • Ensure workplace safety, compliance, and emergency preparedness.

Employee Experience Management
  • Create a welcoming and productive environment for employees, visitors, and partners.

  • Manage front-of-house operations: reception, guest check-ins, and visitor flow.

  • Plan and execute team events, celebrations, swag, and engagement programs that foster connection across NY and SF offices.

  • Organize culture-building initiatives that reinforce Distyl’s values and ways of working.

  • Support internal communications and feedback loops to continuously improve the workplace experience.

  • Oversee employee services programs (perks, food, wellness initiatives).

  • Assist with planning and logistics for team offsites and cross-functional projects.

Onboarding Support
  • Deliver a smooth onboarding experience for new hires across NY and SF, including Day 1 logistics, scheduling, and in-person support.

  • Coordinate onboarding communications, account setup, and monthly onboarding cohorts.

Budget & Vendor Management
  • Own office budget for supplies, food, events, and vendor contracts.

  • Negotiate with vendors for cost savings and quality.

Qualifications:
  • 4–6+ years in office management, workplace experience, or administrative support — ideally in a startup or fast-paced environment. Event planning experience a plus.

  • Proven ability to run operations smoothly while building engaging culture programs.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills; able to manage competing priorities and sensitive/confidential information.

  • Exceptional attention to detail with a track record of precision in tasks and processes.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

  • A proactive and resourceful mindset, with a knack for identifying and resolving operational challenges efficiently.

  • Experience in high-growth or tech/start-up environment preferred.
