About the role:
Persona is excited to welcome a Workplace Experience Manager to our team! As our first New York City-based Workplace hire, you’ll be a key member of our broader Workplace team - playing a pivotal role in nurturing and evolving a people-first culture that keeps our team connected, engaged, and inspired through modern, thoughtful programs.
You’re someone who’s genuinely excited to create meaningful experiences for others. Whether it’s how we gather, how we celebrate, or how we use our space, you’re always thinking about how the workplace can better serve the team. Reporting to the Sr. Business Operations Manager, you’ll own the experience of our NYC space while also partnering closely with our SF-base Workplace team.
This is an onsite position based out of our Lower Manhattan office, steps from Madison Square Park.

What you'll do at Persona

  • In collaboration with the Workplace team, design and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual company-wide events that make the workplace more enjoyable, inclusive, and energizing, helping our culture thrive as we scale.
  • Serve as a cultural ambassador to the NYC office by creating a welcoming environment for both Personerds and guests.
  • Bring fresh ideas to refine and expand existing perks and programs, including but not limited to our events, food & beverage program, janitorial services, security, and other vendors.
  • Assist with space planning efforts to optimize the office layout, ensure common areas are tidy and meeting-ready, and maintain smooth onsite operations.
  • Support employees with all day-to-day needs and help shape a consistent, people-first workplace experience across both coasts.
  • ...and whatever else comes up in the day-to-day office life!

What you'll bring to Persona

  • 3-4 years of Workplace Experience and Office Management; experience within a technology or startup environment strongly preferred
  • Willingness to be onsite 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday - Friday) with occasional overtime
  • Strong organizational and creative skills, with keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple, shifting priorities effectively
  • Proven track record of being proactive, solving problems, anticipating others’ needs, and driving projects to close
  • Experience organizing internal events, working with vendors, contracts, and related documents
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high standards of excellence
  • Work involves extended walking, reaching, bending, stooping, pushing, and/or pulling. Must be able to comfortably lift up to 20 lbs.

Compensation & equity
This salary range is the estimated base salary range. Base salaries are just one component of the total compensation package and are determined by a number of factors such as years of experience, expertise, qualifications and more. In addition to base salary, we offer competitive equity packages that play a big part in recognizing you for the huge impact you will have on helping us achieve our mission. Please note, the salary range is a guideline based on market data for roles located in the San Francisco Bay Area, and may vary depending on location. Salary ranges are subject to change without notice.
