The roleAre you passionate about creating unforgettable workplace experiences? Join GetYourGuide as Intern (12 months) and take ownership of the day-to-day Workplace operations across our two Zurich locations, while supporting Employee Experience initiatives that bring our culture to life.
You'll be an integral member of our People Team, based in Zurich, collaborating closely with the Workplace team in Berlin and the People Operations/Experience Manager in Zurich, as well as liaising with our IT team and external vendors.
Your missionWorkplace Operations
- Oversee day-to-day office operations across both Zurich locations (main office and coworking space), ensuring each is functional, safe, and welcoming.
- Own ordering and stock management of office and Food & Beverage/pantry supplies for the coworking location
- Coordinate front desk duties, including greeting visitors, managing in/outgoing mail and packages
- Manage local vendors and service providers (cleaning, catering, maintenance, coworking space)
- Maintain monthly facility checklists for both locations and liaise regularly with the Workplace team in Berlin on standards, processes, and reporting.
- Optimize and maintain workstations, meeting rooms, and shared spaces, and manage simple maintenance issues and repair requests end-to-end.
Employee Experience
- Help promote a sense of community in line with our company culture: support the organization of company All-Hands, meet-ups, in-office lunches, and other employee perks and global events.
- Support local events
- Support onboarding with office tours and ensure new hires feel set up across both office locations.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's/Master's program or completed study
- EFTA/EU requirement
- Excellent English (C1) and Swiss German (C1) skills.
- Available for at least 12 months, 32 hours/week.
- Comfortable managing multiple vendors, and locations simultaneously, with strong organizational skills.
- Enjoying interacting with employees and maintaining our culture at GetYourGuide
- Proactive and hands-on, always looking for areas to improve the office and employee experience.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations is considered a plus.
- Previous experience in office management, procurement/ordering, or employee events is a plus.
- A hybrid working approach with three days of in office collaboration (Mon, Tue, Thur) and two days of optional at home focus time.
