In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality software solutions for our clients, working closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into functional and scalable applications. You will also be responsible for maintaining and improving existing systems, ensuring that they are up-to-date and meet the needs of our clients.
To be successful in this role, you should have excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail. You should also be comfortable working in a fast-paced, Agile environment and be able to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- At least 3+ years of container-based operations - e.g., docker image creation, container lifecycle management, security best practices
- At least 3+ years of kubernetes experience - cluster architecture, deployments, StatefulSets, DaemonSets, scaling, exit codes, failover scenarios, Helm for packaging/managing apps, RBAC, secrets management, Pod security policies, OPA
- At least 2+ years of IaC management - TF for automated provisioning, CICD for pipeline automation, container builds, etc.
- At least 2+ years of python, and a higher-level language (e.g., java, go) for developing or extending Autosys agent functionality, potential plugin/SDK integrations
- Some general experience designing resilient architectures, implementing failover mechanisms, enforcing least privilege, securing cluster communications, etc.
- BONUS: Some understanding of job scheduling, configuration, exit codes, error handling for Autosys
