We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our Web Development team as a Working Student supporting both our Developer Portal and Marketing Web Properties. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with modern web technologies, gain hands-on experience, learn from experienced developers and contribute to real-world projects in an international SaaS company.

What you’ll be doing

Developer Portal (Developer-Facing, API & Docs Focus)

  • Maintain and improve the Developer Portal GitHub repository (fix bugs, update dependencies, improve security).
  • Implement new features such as AI chatbots, a code editor, or an email subscription for changelog updates.
  • Enhance UI components and navigation to make API documentation more accessible.
  • Maintain design consistency and branding across web components.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Writing Team to improve content structure and usability.
  • Work on well-defined tasks while receiving guidance and support from team members.

Marketing Web Properties (Public-Facing, Performance & UX Focus)

  • Develop, test, and refine cross-browser and cross-device features.
  • Support technical SEO efforts (such as website performance optimization) and UX enhancements.
  • Identify, debug, and resolve website issues.
  • Maintain design consistency and branding across all web properties.

What you need to be successful

  • Currently enrolled at a university or college (Fachhochschule) for at least two semesters.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience working with GitHub and version control.
  • A structured and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for clean, sustainable code.
  • Comfortable communicating in English in an international team setting.

Nice-to-Have (Bonus, but Not Required)

  • Experience with Static Site Generators (Astro), Tailwind, React, or Node.js.
  • Familiarity with WordPress or other CMS platforms (for Marketing Web Properties).
  • Understanding of UI/UX principles.
  • Experience with SEO, tracking tools (Google Analytics, etc.), or performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian products like Jira or Confluence.
  • Experience with Figma.
