Responsibilities:
- Cash Management Support:
- Assist in daily cash position monitoring and forecasting.
- Support the execution of payment transactions and bank transfers.
- Help reconcile bank statements and investigate discrepancies.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Assist in the preparation of regular treasury reports.
- Support the analysis of cash flow data and identify trends.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of treasury dashboards.
- Administrative Support:
- Maintain and organize treasury documentation.
- Assist with the administration of bank accounts and related systems.
- Support the team with ad-hoc tasks and projects.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to improve existing treasury processes and workflows.
- Assist in the implementation of new treasury tools and technologies.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with other finance teams, such as accounting and controlling.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Bank Account Management:
- Support new customer funds and business funds bank account opening requests, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and approvals are obtained (New Bank Onboarding KYC/EDD).
- Maintain and review bank access rights, Powers of Attorney (POAs), ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
- Procure Safeguarding Acknowledgement Letters from banking partners, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure the timely submission of KYC refreshers for each bank, maintaining up-to-date customer information and complying with regulatory obligations.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong interest in treasury and financial markets.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Experience with financial systems, such as ERP and TMS systems, is a plus.
- Strategic and tactical thinking; ability to create innovative, forward-thinking solutions.
- Ability to manage large datasets from multiple sources using BI tools, Excel, or Google Sheets.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with teams such as Legal, Compliance, Accounting, and Tax.
