About the role

As a Working Student in Office/ IT Operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our daily business runs smoothly while gaining valuable hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, technical support, and office coordination. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with technology, solving technical challenges, and keeping systems well-organized and efficient.

Your Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the office and the office network infrastructure, including routers, patch management, firewall configuration, etc., to ensure a secure and efficient work environment.
• Coordinate with external service providers, such as technicians or facility managers, and oversee their work.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance and security issues, implementing necessary updates and improvements.
• Prepare and set up laptops and technical equipment for new employees (Onboarding), ensuring seamless integration into the network.
• Manage Offboarding process, including resetting devices and revoking access to internal systems.
• Create and manage user accounts, and access controls across various tools and platforms.
• Serve as the first point of contact for IT-related issues, providing technical support and troubleshooting for both hardware and network-related problems.
• Maintain and optimize IT inventory and documentation, ensuring all devices, network configurations, and security protocols are up to date.
• Be present to receive and manage deliveries, including unpacking, organizing, and storing items

Your Profile:

• You are currently enrolled as a student (e.g., in IT, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related technical field).
• You enjoy working with technology and solving technical challenges.
• A reliable, organized, and proactive working style with attention to detail.
• Strong technical understanding and confidence in handling hardware and software tools.
• Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
• Ideally, some experience with IT equipment, user accounts, or office tools, but motivation and a willingness to learn are more important.
