Working Student (f/m/d) DevOps

Do you want to be part of a team that provides trust of data security to the biggest companies in the world? Within NXP Trust Provisioning, we are looking for a Working Student to support our DevOps activities.

For more and more products in Mobile, Connectivity, Payment, IoT, Automotive, Smart Home (Voice recognition etc.), Transportation (Public Transportation etc.), Smart Cities (Smart Energy etc.)  and other areas security is mandatory. You will be part of the Trust Provisioning Operations team in Hamburg, providing Product Customization and Service Operations to a large variety of internal and external customers. For each new security product or derivate the Product Customization process is used. Requests must be collected via predefined templates and processed via workflows.

Your Job:

In this exciting role your responsibilities will include:

• Support DevOps activities like testing and deploying of new application

• Support processes automation wherever possible

Your Profile:

• Pursuing a technical degree at university

• Some experiences in DevOps activities is required

• Familiarity with CI/CD, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and other repos is highly appreciated

• Basic programming skills in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Bash, JavaScript, PowerShell, C++, or Java are a plus

• Experience with coding in YAML and/or Drools is advantageous

• Familiarity with collaboration tools like Confluence and Jira is a plus

• Organized, reliable, and structured

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken

Working Time: approx. 15-18 hrs/week, at least 2 days per week

Contract Duration: ideally you are enrolled for at least 1 more year and can support us long term
