Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and creative individual who is interested in a working student position in the field of characterization and testing of complex MEMS. In this position, you will have the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects in the field of Consumer Electronics and IoT and to think about new applications for intelligent MEMS consumer sensors. As a student assistant, you will be involved in the following activities:
- As our working student, you will carry out electrical, optical, mechanical and acoustic characterisations of MEMS using existing laboratory setups.
- You will be responsible for electrical laboratory activities such as soldering, circuit construction and testing.
- Furthermore, you will program and adapt measurement scripts in Python / MATLAB.
- Last but not least, you will document the measurement results.
Qualifications
- Education: studies in the field of Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or comparable with completed basic studies
- Experience and Knowledge: proficient in MS Office; basic knowledge of microsystems technology, electrical engineering; programming skills in Python, MATLAB; ideally laboratory experience
- Personality and Working Practice: an enthusiastic, strong communicator, who is cooperative, a strong leader, empathetic, a quick learner, structured, entrepreneurial and goal-oriented
- Languages: good communication skills in written and spoken German and English

Start: according to prior agreement
Duration: 6 months – 10h-20h/week or full-time as part of a specialised internship
