Working Student Set Assistant(All genders welcome!) work across the physical production of video related to Conde Nast’s prestigious brands in Germany - Vogue, GQ, Glamour, AD and CNT. The Working Student Set Assistant will support Condé Nast Germany's production team in scheduling shoots, maintaining Condé Nast’s own inhouse Studio and assists on Set with Setup, Shooting and Wrapping. .
Video output includes:
Original, social video, and podcast content for global digital platforms (e.g. O&O, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), with a focus on premium, scalable quality.
The ideal candidate works hands-on in a fast-paced, production world; is a self-starter, and has a passion for Conde Nast’s iconic brands and a knowledge in film and photo equipment.. This role reports to the Head of Video, Germany.
Primary Responsibilities
Supports the scheduling of shoots in Condé Nast’s inhouse Studio
Maintain an overview of studio equipment & inventoryWork hand in hand with the local Production Manager to schedule and conduct shoots
Alongside Production Management, facilitate logistics for shoots including but not limited to coordinating/booking crew, and equipment, managing/tracking location and talent agreements, location permissions, risk assessment, booking transport, and cost/budgets associated with production.
Assist internal and external crew on Set for Video and Photoshoots
Support our local Team in administrative issues
Essential Skills and Experience
A minimum of 1 years experience in media production
A strong knowledge of and interest in Conde Nast Brands
Strong understanding of production and post-production workflow.
Deep Knowledge of Film & Photo equipment
Must exhibit strong written and verbal skills in German and English.
Experience managing a slate of multiple projects simultaneously.
The ability to work collaboratively, receive feedback, and provide notes on projects is a must.
