Job DescriptionAbout the role
Join the Redcare Pharmacy Category Management team and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and forward-thinking e-commerce company! With flat hierarchies and a dynamic work environment, you’ll contribute meaningfully to the optimization of our product assortment and digital merchandising in the German online shop.
We are looking for a Working Student Category Management (m/f/d) with strong Excel skills and an interest in e-commerce, data, and healthcare. This role is ideal for students in the final stages of their studies who want to actively support a growing team while building valuable experience in digital category management.
About your tasks
- You will support our Category Management in the varied daily business/tasks
You will be responsible for the onboarding and categorization of new products in our German online shop
You will select relevant products for newsletters, banners, and other promotional formats
You will collaborate on category presentation and performance optimization projects
You will create and maintain reports, perform market and assortment analyses, and conduct competitive benchmarking
You will support the team in coordinating onsite promotions and liaising with the Advertising Category Manager
You will provide administrative support, such as organizing meetings, maintaining documentation in Confluence, and preparing presentations
About you
You are currently studying Economics, eCommerce, or a similar field
You are available for a 1-year student contract, ideally 20 hours per week
You have strong Excel skills (e.g., Pivot Tables)
You are motivated, analytical, and have a passion for numbers
You have prior working experience (e.g., internships or working student roles)
You are preferably in the last two semesters of your studies
You speak fluent German and English
Ideally, you have worked in e-commerce, pharma, or in category management
A background in data handling or analysis is a plus
