  • Partner with team and project leaders to manage cross-functional resource needs

  • Improve scheduling and job assignment processes to increase efficiency and throughput

  • Support implementation of tools and systems that streamline resource planning

Project Budgeting & Performance

  • Partner with Finance and project leaders on budgeting and resource planning

  • Monitor key performance indicators such as utilization, realization, and project profitability

  • Identify opportunities to improve margins, efficiency, and delivery outcomes

  • Help ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget

Data, Reporting & Insights

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting for:

    • Capacity and utilization

    • Forecast vs. actual workload

    • Project performance

  • Translate data into actionable insights for leadership

  • Support development of a reliable, centralized source of operational data

Process Improvement & Systems

  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows and reduce manual effort

  • Support implementation of tools for scheduling, planning, and reporting

  • Help scale processes to support firm growth

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Partner with Operations, Finance, HR, and service line leaders

  • Fewer last-minute staffing challenges and scheduling conflicts

  • Improved utilization and project performance

  • More proactive, data-informed workforce decisions

  • Better visibility into capacity, workload, and financial outcomes

  • Strong collaboration across teams with smoother project execution

What You Bring

  • 5–8+ years in operations, resource management, project management, or workforce planning

  • Experience in a project-based or professional services environment preferred

  • Track record of improving processes and operational outcomes

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (forecasting, capacity planning, modeling)

  • Experience with project budgeting, scheduling, and coordination

  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, modeling, analysis)

  • Experience with reporting/BI tools (e.g., Power BI or similar)

  • Understanding of metrics like utilization, realization, and efficiency

  • Ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights

  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
