The HRIS Specialist is responsible for managing and implementing the iSolved system for RKL Virtual clients. This role acts as a technical expert and system administrator, addressing system queries, providing client support, managing implementations, and performing system trainings. This position is highly knowledgeable in various HRIS modules, including payroll, HR, onboarding and off boarding, time and attendance, and more. The specialist will also stay updated with product enhancements and various tax laws across different states, ensuring optimal system performance and compliance.

  • Assist in the end-to-end implementation of the iSolved HRIS platform, including client onboarding, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules
  • Provide comprehensive technical support and troubleshooting, serving as one of the primary contacts for iSolved system-related queries
  • Customize and maintain iSolved applications, systems, and modules, addressing the specific needs of each client while overseeing system upgrades
  • Administer system user permissions, access, and settings, tailoring the platform to suit user preferences and organizational requirements
  • Develop and conduct training sessions for client administrators and users, ensuring full proficiency in system functionalities
  • Assist with client discovery sessions and lead kick-off and implementation calls to accurately assess and meet client specifications
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain clear communication and share knowledge, enhancing team competency and performance
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all implementation steps, including data reconciliation and template assistance
  • Program and document custom functions and solutions within HRIS to cater to complex client payroll and HR needs
  • Assist in developing, updating and enforcing HRIS technology policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal standards and best practices
  • Maintain proficiency in a broad range of HRIS, payroll, and talent management systems to offer specialized consulting services
  • Effectively manage personal workload and schedule to complete tasks within budget and on time, while focusing on achieving high realization rates
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, becoming a trusted advisor and ensuring client satisfaction
  • Ensure the protection of sensitive and confidential information, adhering to data privacy regulations
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team and adapt to evolving business requirements
  • Any other duty as needed to drive to the vison, fulfill the mission, and abide by the values of this organization
People Management and Relationships
  • Act as a mentor to team members, guiding them through complex system functionalities and encouraging their professional growth and development
  • Maintain an open line of communication with colleagues and clients, ensuring clarity and collaboration across all stages of HRIS implementation and support
  • Build and sustain positive, professional relationships with clients, establishing trust and becoming an integral part of their HR technology strategy
  • Conduct regular check-ins with both team members and clients to proactively address concerns and foster an environment of continuous improvement and engagement
  • Encourage a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team to enhance overall service delivery and client satisfaction
Business Growth
  • Identify opportunities for expanding the use of HRIS solutions within existing client organizations by demonstrating the benefits and efficiencies of additional modules and features
  • Contribute to the development of new business proposals by providing technical expertise and insights into the advantages of the iSolved platform
  • Participate in networking events and industry conferences to stay ahead of HRIS trends, thereby positioning the company as a market leader in HR technology solutions
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create case studies and testimonials showcasing successful client implementations, leveraging these for business development purposes
  • Provide feedback from clients to the product development team for the enhancement of HRIS offerings, aligning with market needs and driving innovation

 Required Knowledge, Skills, and/or Ability
  • Deep understanding of HRIS technologies, specifically iSolved, and be capable of operating the system at an advanced level
  • Proficiency in a variety of HRIS and payroll software, as well as multimedia training platforms and instructional methods
  • General knowledge of payroll, such as tax regulations and deductions
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients, firm management, and team members with diverse technical aptitudes
  • Creative and innovative thinking applied to concepts and project execution
  • High attention to detail and accuracy combined with excellent organizational skills
  • A strong customer service orientation characterized by intellectual curiosity and attentive listening skills
  • Skilled in setting priorities, managing concurrent projects, navigating challenges, and leveraging organizational abilities to complete tasks efficiently
  • Ability to work independently and remain composed under the pressure of tight deadlines and competing priorities
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities, including the agility to adjust to shifting priorities and adapt to change
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and Zoom
Education, Experience and Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree Human Resources or Business preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of HRIS experience (iSolved preferred)
  • Previous experience in software implementation or experience as an administrator in HRIS software preferred
  • Payroll certification preferred
 Essential Functions and Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in a stationary position and use a computer for extended periods of time
  • Adequate manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, and printers
  • Capability to read and understand information presented on a computer screen and in written documents
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with clients and team members in person, over the phone, and through electronic correspondence
  • Flexibility to attend in-person meetings or training sessions as required, which may involve travel and overnight stays
  • Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule, including potential for work outside of standard business hours to meet client needs
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs
  • Ability to bend, kneel, twist, or reach out

Salary Range:

$60,000 - $70,000
