The Purpose:
As the Workforce Planning & Insights Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring AP+ has the workforce capability, capacity and insights to deliver on its strategic priorities today and into the future.  Working in a part time capacity (4 days per week) in a six month max term contract arrangement, you'll lead the operationalisation of our Future Workforce strategy, embedding workforce planning into business decision-making while elevating the maturity of people analytics, reporting and workforce insights across the organisation. By combining strategic workforce planning with data-driven decision making, you'll enable leaders to make informed workforce choices that support sustainable business performance and drive capability uplift across AP+.  

Key Outcomes the Role Owns: 

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic workforce plans aligned to AP+'s business priorities and future capability needs.  
  • Design and embed workforce planning frameworks, methodologies and governance that improve workforce decision-making across the organisation.  
  • Deliver meaningful people, culture and workforce analytics, dashboards and reporting that provide actionable insights to executives and business leaders.  
  • Establish and continuously improve measurement frameworks, success measures and reporting that enable evidence-based people decisions.  
  • Translate complex workforce data into clear, compelling insights and recommendations that influence strategic planning and organisational performance.  
  • Operationalise and embed workforce planning processes, reporting capability and data quality, prioritizing scalable, efficient and automated solutions.  
  • Partner with key stakeholders  to provide trusted specialist advice on workforce planning and people data and insights 

You'll bring: 

We're looking for a commercially minded workforce planning professional who combines strategic thinking with strong analytical capability and enjoys influencing senior stakeholders and building processes and systems from scratch.  

  • Significant experience in strategic workforce planning, workforce analytics or people insights within a complex organisation.  
  • Demonstrated success developing workforce frameworks, measurement and forecasting models that support business outcomes.  
  • Strong experience producing executive-level dashboards, reporting and workforce insights using data visualisation and business intelligence tools.  
  • Proven ability to translate complex workforce data into practical recommendations that influence strategic and operational decisions.  
  • Experience establishing cross-functional measurement and reporting disciplines that improve organisational performance.  
  • Progressive knowledge of workforce planning methodologies, capability assessment, skills forecasting and people data governance and a point of view on how these evolve over time.  
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across senior leadership teams.  
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Workforce Planning, Analytics or a related discipline. Experience within financial services or another highly regulated environment will be highly regarded.
