Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Track and audit engineer labor activity by workstation, ensuring accurate reporting in internal workforce and cost tracking systems.
- Validate timecard hours against active workstations and work-in-progress activities to maintain labor reporting accuracy.
- Analyze labor hours by tool complexity, project scope, and expected task durations to identify variances and process improvement opportunities.
- Forecast labor requirements using Primavera schedules, upcoming tool install demand, and workforce planning data.
- Monitor workload trends and recommend staffing or headcount adjustments based on changing labor demand.
- Develop dashboards, executive presentations, and management reports that provide visibility into workforce performance and labor utilization.
- Support labor planning and workforce deployment decisions by aligning staffing levels with project schedules, active work scope, and productivity goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Analytics, or a related field preferred; equivalent education and relevant experience will be considered.
- 3 to 7 years of experience in workforce planning, labor analysis, project controls, operations analytics, scheduling, or a related analytical role.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills with the ability to analyze labor, schedule, and productivity metrics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, reporting tools, and presentation development, with the ability to communicate findings to leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Experience supporting operations, manufacturing, construction, facilities, semiconductor, or capital project environments preferred.
- Ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with Primavera scheduling tools, cost tracking systems, and workforce planning processes.
- Ability to develop dashboards and reporting solutions that support labor forecasting, resource planning, and operational decision-making.
- Experience in tool install, semiconductor, facilities, construction, or large-scale capital project environments strongly preferred.
Physical Effort/Activities:
May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds.
