The Business Solutions Workforce Coordinator I focuses on specific tasks or facets of PPLSI as assigned by their direct leader.

Responsibilities:

Scope of the Role 

The Business Solutions Workforce Coordinator I is responsible for completing tactile tasks and assigned work duties that help drive the success of the organization. This position requires flexibility to work various shifts as needed and will be a partner with the Business Solutions Directors and VP team in managing resources in real time.   

The Business Solutions Workforce Coordinator I will be able to communicate effectively, collaborate with internal and external contacts, meet deadlines, and maintain autonomy while working on projects and duties. As breadth of knowledge increases with experience, the Business Solutions Workforce Coordinator I may become eligible to transition to the next level of Business Workforce Coordinator II. 

Performance Outcomes 

Technical 

  • Respond to questions and be accessible to all team members both internal and external including basic troubleshooting prior to Cherwell request entry 

  • Manage all internal service or troubleshooting requests through Cherwell and maintain tracking and reporting until items reach completion 

  • Assist and manage technical issues reported via internal email box by researching items pertaining to memberships, applications, or technical matters 

  • Compile and distribute daily and monthly reports to all Teams, Directors and Managers 

Department Support 

  • Perform various administrative duties in support of the organization and report creation and execution 

  • Coordinate with various organizational leaders regarding staffing levels as well as issues affecting production 

  • Interface with local operations in coordinating floor activities such as team meetings, training, CS Week activities, overtime/coverage process, and schedule changes 

  • Assist in daily operation of the Workforce Team to ensure all deadlines are met 

  • Order and distribute supplies to employees 

  • Create and Train new department processes 

  • Submit requisitions to Accounting 

  • Work adjusted schedule to answer Business Solutions family line and direct calls as assigned (7-8am) 

  • Maintain data records including workday as necessary and assist with LMS and other training/meeting requirements as well as payroll 

  • Ensure accurate reporting of key business metrics throughout Business Solutions 

  • Other duties as assigned, including account research and follow-up, special projects, etc. 

Education, Knowledge, and Experience 

    • High school diploma or GED; some college preferred 

    • 1-2 Years Previous Workforce Management or Resource Planning experience preferred 

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint  

  • Basic knowledge of computer applications including but not limited to System I, Talkdesk, Sharepoint 

  • Strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills  

  • This position requires the ability to manage relationships both internally across the company and externally. 

  • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality with employee records, projects, and other company restricted information. 

  • An ability to handle multiple deadlines, while working independently and maintaining a high degree of productivity, accuracy, and sense of urgency.  

  • Requires an individual with a positive professional attitude who can successfully demonstrate the ability to perform and provide results in a face pace environment while working as a part of a team to meet strategic objectives. 

FLSA Status 

This is a non-exempt position.

Employee must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Employee may be expected to lift and carry or otherwise move 20 pounds occasionally. Employee can work at the computer or other sedentary tasks for extended periods. Employee can conduct duties discreetly and impartially. Employee has regular and predictable attendance and punctuality with the ability to work on critical business days as deemed necessary, including some evenings and weekends. Some local travel by car may be required during the working day.
