Your next career opportunity  
You will lead employment compliance communications that make complex obligations clear, actionable and engaging for diverse staff. 

You will collaborate with HR and senior stakeholders to support change readiness and build confident, compliant workforce behaviours. 

What you will deliver:  

• Develop and implement targeted communication and engagement plans for employment compliance and broader human resources initiatives. 

• Create, review and refine multi-channel communication materials, ensuring accuracy, accessibility and alignment with University standards and branding. 

• Translate complex legislative, policy and employment compliance requirements into clear workforce instructions, guidance, training resources and awareness campaigns. 

• Coordinate change management activities, including stakeholder analysis, readiness assessments, communication plans and adoption monitoring for key initiatives. 

• Monitor communication and training effectiveness metrics, reporting insights and recommending improvements to stakeholder experience and compliance outcomes. 

You may be a great fit if you:  

• Hold a relevant postgraduate qualification in communications, human resources or a closely related discipline. 

• Bring substantial experience delivering communication and stakeholder engagement initiatives within large, complex organisations. 

• Demonstrate high attention to detail and advanced writing skills, translating complex policy, legislative or technical content into clear, engaging workforce communications. 

• Offer proven experience supporting organisational change, including business readiness, stakeholder engagement and adoption activities. 

• Exercise sound judgement when balancing organisational context, stakeholder needs, communication risks and employment compliance considerations. 

• Apply understanding of employment compliance, workplace legislation or change methodologies such as Prosci or ADKAR frameworks.

Your new team – “Employment Compliance Directorate”  
You will join the Employment Compliance Directorate within the Chief People Officer portfolio in the COO group.  The team combines expertise in remuneration, workforce insights, monitoring and policy to champion fair, compliant employment practices. 

You will collaborate with HR directors, HR services and University partners on initiatives strengthening workforce compliance culture.  Expect a supportive, expert environment that values accuracy, integrity, collaboration and continuous improvement in employment compliance.  You will help shape University-wide practices that support staff, students and partners through clear, trusted workforce communications.
